This foundational strategy established a unified, investment-focused brand voice, ensuring all future marketing resources and civic communications seamlessly support the District's broader economic goals.

Before writing any new copy, I conducted a rigorous audit of the region's legacy websites, brand guides, and promotional resources. By systematically stripping away outdated information and bureaucratic clutter, I was able to distill the region's complex economic data into clear, compelling value propositions that actually resonate with modern investors.

I authored a comprehensive suite of B2B marketing collateral designed specifically for commercial investors, entrepreneurs, and site selectors. This included writing the region's official Regional Profile, Business Development Guide, General Information Guide, and targeted Opportunity Sheets, translating raw regional potential into highly persuasive investment copy.

The Brief
To stimulate long-term economic growth, the Regional District of Fraser-Fort George needed to overhaul how the Robson Valley Region (RVR) positioned itself to potential investors. The challenge was auditing a disjointed library of legacy marketing materials and developing a cohesive, modernized communication strategy to highlight specific economic opportunities and drive regional business attraction.
The Strategy
Acting as the lead copywriter and content consultant, I helped architect the Robson Valley Region Economic Development Marketing Program. I started by conducting a comprehensive audit of their existing resources, stripping away outdated messaging to distill the region's core value propositions. From there, I developed the foundational 2020 Marketing and Messaging Strategy, which served as the strategic blueprint for authoring a complete suite of new investment materials, including highly targeted Opportunity Sheets focused on five key economic sectors.
The Impact
The newly developed Marketing and Messaging Strategy was officially adopted by the Regional District Steering Committee, completely resetting how the region communicates with investors. The cohesive suite of modernized marketing materials—including a comprehensive Regional Profile and Business Development Guide—is now actively deployed by the District to successfully attract new business and secure investment across the Robson Valley.
